Featured Artist Programs
The Robert Henri Museum, in its efforts to continue to promote the legacy of Henri and his influence in promoting all kinds of art, sponsors a number of programs annually. Candidates are welcome to apply for the various programs using the form provided at the bottom of the page.

Our 2025 artist programs are made possible by the membership of the Robert Henri Museum and Art Gallery.
Program Descriptions
Artist of the Month

An artist’s work will be on display during various months (May, July, August, and October.) The artist is entitled to an opening reception.

For the sake of ease, the museum can handle all sales of artwork because it can do credit card transactions easily and will keep track of sales. At the end of the show the museum will write a check to the artist. We will place a 30% buyers fee on top of the artist’s price which is a donation to the museum as per the program’s requirements.

The artist will be responsible for the delivery and pick up of the artwork on display.
Artist-in-Residence

The program runs for 2 consecutive weeks in June and September. (The dates are negotiable and can be discussed with museum officials.)

Lodging will be provided for the artist.

The artist will receive a stipend of $500 made in two payments.

The artist will be entitled to a welcoming reception.

The artist will be required to teach art classes to students of all ages.

The artist is expected to be available at the museum for the general public to visit.
