My art work concentrates, in a mostly Impressionist style, in portrait, landscapes and cityscapes, still life, and other objects. I am familiar with Robert Henri’s and the Ash Can school as well as his origins as Robert Henry Cozad in Cozad. I have been featured in galleries in Colorado, historical museums in Colorado and in Dawson County, the Pentagon, MCC Omaha, Bellevue University, several corporate headquarters in Northern Virginia, and in the veterans sponsored New Century Art Guild in Kimballton, Iowa. My work has also been featured on Omaha commercial television as part of my volunteer work promoting veterans art therapy this past winter.
I try to include vanishing small town and country culture views in my work, especially of things in/near Dawson County, and across the state of Nebraska.
